The jewelry that we make are original designs inspired on traditional
Mexican ornamentation. Recreated in natural materials of the highest quality
that we can get.
Each handmade piece is unique, and pairs are worked to be as similar as
possible.
It is important to take care of your plugs so they will look their best
and last a lifetime. And also so they work best with your body.
Materials like wood, because it is porous it needs to have its moisture
to seal pores and so they can have a better relationship with your body.
So it’s very important to not swim or shower with your plugs and
to oil them periodically. You can use jojoba or olive oil. Oil can cause
your plugs to get a darker look to them but this will keep them healthy
and you too.
IF your plugs have gold or silver inlay, or are solid silver plugs or
hoops you can keep the metal shiny with a polishing cloth or lightly wash
them with soft soap (if your plugs have wood in them, do this carefully
to not soak your plugs). And with a cloth and a mixture of baking soda
and a few drops of water you can clean with a soft cloth.
Materials like amber or stone that are brittle can break if dropped or
put under pressure or treated roughly.
Wash only with mild or neutral soap like dr broners.
Do not soak or bathe with your plugs. This will cause them to dry up and
crack.
